Easter Prelude: Computer Workshop
Preparing, Plotting, Grand Entry

Exchange Volunteer Notes: this lesson uses "The Life of Christ" software to learn about Mary's annointing of Jesus, the Plot to catch and kill Jesus, and Palm Sunday events. It also includes a review on the events of Passion Week.

Goals
1. Be able to find the stories in the Bible
2. Know that we should follow Jesus (God Leads us)
3. Know that Mary prepare Jesus body for death by annointing it with perfume
4. Know that God sent Jesus to die in our place.
5. Know Jesus was honored as king on Palm Sunday.

Supplies
1. Jar of perfume or aftershave (anything that smells)
2. Change purse (or even plastic bag) with small amount of change in it
3. Life of Christ CD

Advance Preparation
1. Preview CD “Life of Christ”
Read Bible Background on Stories

Introduction
Begin by passing around a jar or aftershave or perfume.

Ask the student what they think (some may know the story) smell has to do with Jesus.
If they don’t know tell them we will be finding out shortly in our Lesson

Place a few coins in a some money change purse (enough so that it jingles).
Ask the student what they think (some may know the story) sound has to do with Jesus
If they don’t know tell them will will be find that our shortly in our Lesson also

Tell the students as the listen to the story look for things that make sounds or have smells.
