I need tips on making palm shaped cookies. The recipe I have shapes the palms with dough rolled into 1/4 inch "worms" and then the palms are filled in with crushed green suckers. I had trouble getting them to turn out. HAs anyone tried this before ?

Just an idea.

Do a play on words and use the "palm" of your hand to make the cookies.

Discussion can center around the role of hands and holy week such as: laying cloaks and applause of the crowd, healing with laying on of hands, hands in prayer, hands nailed to the cross.
