Use REPLY to add your ideas on any aspect of the Elijah story....
Cooking I'm looking for a quick bread recipe for "Elijah and the Widow" lesson for preschoolers in our Children's Chapel. I taught this lesson a few years ago, but have misplaced my recipe. It called for flour, sugar, and salt to be placed in a ziploc prior to class. Once the students were there, all they did was add the oil to the "flour" and bake the bread. It was quick, easy, and tasty. Anyone have their recipe to share? This message has been edited. Last edited by: CreativeCarol, |

There is a similar recipe in "Incredible Edible Bible Fun" (Group Publishing). In the book it relates to the resurrection of Jesus. . .it is called "It's Alive! Bread--mixed in a ziploc bag.

If you have a helpful hint to help others remember, please add it to the list there. Thanks! Amy Exchange Volunteer |
