JESUS RAISES LAZARUS

ROTATION SET DEVELOPED BY VOLUNTEER WRITING TEAM

Although the Rotation.Org Volunteer Writing Team voted to develop the New Testament miracle story, “Jesus Raises Lazarus,” as one of the lesson sets during round three of their process, when they began discussing it they found that there were already three sets, plus a few ideas, posted in the Forum “Raising of Lazarus.” Therefore, they took a slightly different approach. They decided to suggest that people look for the more typical workshops, such as Art and Cinema, in the existing material and they worked on lessons for additional approaches to the story. These include:

Bible Background and workshops for Banners/Textiles, Computer, Cooking, Creative Writing, Games, Missions, Music/Movement, Puppetry, Science, and Storytelling.

As of this writing, July 4, 2006, there are three other lesson sets in this Forum with Bible Background and workshops for Art, Cinema, Computer, Cooking, Drama, Games, and Storytelling. In addition, there are ideas and drama suggestions.

But, by the time you read this, the contents of the Forum will probably have changed as people contribute their offerings on the theme. That’s the beauty of Rotation.Org – it is always growing. We challenge you to pick and choose from the variety that is offered and put together a rotation set on “Lazarus” that meets the needs of your particular congregation. Then, share the results by posting anything new that you develop!
