What do you think is necessary for setting up a science workshop?

We do not have a "science" room specifically, but we DO do science workshops. The room we use is called Signs and Wonders, but if you look at the homepage of this site you can find lots of photos of rooms as well as names.
As for equipment, it is pretty simple:
globe
magnifying glasses
small mirrors
funnels
magnets

Anything you will need for a specific workshop will most likely be pretty simple stuff. I would not recommend you create an actual "lab" unless you have a school or other group that would use it.
